Reduction trimming decreases the size of a tree and is often performed under electrical transmission service wires. This is a delicate job, best accomplished by cutting back scaffold leaders and branch terminals to secondary branches, all while trying not to get electrocuted or cause a disruption of electrical service to nearby homes.
